Back in 2007, Boston Neighborhood Network General Manager and singer Curtis Henderson Jr. began working with R&B producers Larry Woo and Gordon Worthy on his first CD, “Magic of the Night.” The album was released last month, featuring a combination of funky ’70s and ’80s influences and performances by a host of Boston’s jazz and R&B luminaries. Henderson will celebrate the CD’s release with a concert at Scullers Jazz Club in Allston on Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at 8 p.m. For more information, visit http://www.scullersjazz.com.
